Villa Martin

The villa is a two-story property. The first gate to the property is found at street level and 37 steps later, you enter into a second, private gate which brings you directly to the property. The bottom level consists of the living room, dining area, and kitchen, which is connected to the top floor either by a small elevator or a small spiral staircase. The entrance to the main living area is off of the main terrace which overlooks the small pool and the Li Galli Islands in the distance. The red tile/brick floored living room is divided into various comfort areas – the main living room area has several couches, a small glass coffee table, and an oval, informal dining/cocktail table. There is a separate, formal dining area/room located directly behind the main living room, complete with a glass dining table for 8, bordering a small TV room where two, large sofa chairs sit before a TV with DVD player and a small CD player. The kitchen is a decent space, with direct access out onto the main terrace (about 2.5 meters wide by 12 meters long) overlooking the small pool, and is equipped with a small fryer, a microwave, a 5-range stovetop, an oven, a large refrigerator/freezer, blender, and a small juicer. The ground floor also has a ½ bath in the living room and although the temperature inside the house is very cool due to the thick, stone walls, all of the spaces are air conditioned. The top floor is the bedroom area and offers two queen bedrooms, each with en-suite, ceramic tile bathrooms. The first enjoys a 4 door, built-in closet, a desk, two dressers, and a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi-jet bathtub. The second is a double which can be divided into twin beds, offering a two door, built-in closet, a small dresser, and an en-suite bathroom with shower. Both bedrooms offer small décor pieces of furniture, pottery, and art and share a small terrace with great views that look out onto the Li Galli Islands. There is a third, double independent bedroom found off of the terrace on the bedroom floor. The bedroom is situated in a small stone space and is filled with Arabic motifs and red & white tiles. The bedroom enjoys its own, full bathroom.
