Villa Hermila

This two floor villa enjoys a flight of lavish sandstone steps decorated with Mosaics from the XVII Century connecting the first floor to the second. Vaulted ceilings decorated with Fresco paintings, important pieces of antique furniture, and renowned works of art reflect the owner's sophisticated taste and knowledge for this material. The Villa boasts wonderful living areas, the first located on the ground floor, suitable for private gatherings and for relaxing. The most important living spaces are found on the first floor, decorated with Fresco paintings and period furniture, providing an extraordinary and very unique style. GROUND FLOOR: The elegant 16th century doorway entrance welcomes guests into an elegant and majestic hall enriched with vases and various pieces of art. On the left hand side is the first living room, fully furnished with white sofas, an antique piano, and a fireplace. The pavement is original, made from typical hand-made ceramics from Sorrento and, as if this were not captivating enough, you will be even further struck by the views of the enchanting Island of Capri, right outside your window. The right hand side of the hall is reserved for property staff who reside on site to provide maximum comfort and service. The first bedroom, a triple with a double bed and a single, is located through the living room, up to a flight of 5 steps. This bedroom boasts en-suite facilities and a shower, while the bedroom itself enjoys a plasma TV, a window, and a balcony which leading to the outside terrace. The second bathroom is located in the leaving room. FIRST FLOOR: Another flight of 25 stone steps takes you up to the next 4 bedrooms. The first single bedroom is located to the right, followed by 3 double bedrooms. One of these doubles can be used as either a living room (if only 4 bedrooms are needed) or converted to a 5th, double bedroom. This bedroom, however, is located between the single and one of the double bedrooms and can only be accessed by walking through one of these bedrooms. All bedrooms boast Fresco painted ceilings and antique furniture. The kitchen is situated on the first floor and enjoys a wide terrace, equipped with table and chairs made of wrought iron and ceramics. The kitchen is very well equipped with an oven, microwave, and refrigerator. SOLARIUM & TERRACES: Enchanting and Magic: these are the two words to best describe the beauty of these terraces with second-to-none views of the Island of Capri, Island of Ischia, the Gulf of Naples, and Sorrento. The Villa boasts two terraces. The first enjoys access directly from the living room on the ground floor. It is private and perfect for relaxing. The second enjoys access from the second floor and boats panoramic views from both levels. This terrace is perfect for al fresco dining, socializing and candle-lit awing. The solarium is well equipped with lounge chairs, towels and a shower. GARDENS: The Gardens of the villa are some of the most beautiful of the entire region. They are referred to as ‘open-air living rooms’, arranged with wrought iron tables and chairs, hammocks and swings for maximum pleasure. The gardens are the right place to relax and regenerate, with long walks through age-old arbour and rare botanical plants, typical of the Mediterranean region. The garden features several paths which provide incredible views of the hills and the village of Annunziata, which provides the opportunity to admire its breathtaking views.
