The villa, located in the upper part of Massa Lubrense, enjoys a wonderful views of the sea and of the Island of Capri. The villa is on 3 floors: ground floor, 1st floor and 2nd floor. To reach the 1st and the 2nd floor you can use both stairs or an external elevator. Thanks to its 3 levels and irregular structure, the villa boasts 6 external terraces of various sizes, all well equipped with tables sofas, and chairs. A solarium on the roof offers great sunbathing. A wide parking area precedes the garden on the ground floor. The garden ceiling is covered by plants and bamboo. The prestige of this villa is certainly its furniture from 1700 and 1800’s, works by numerous artists, and a great collection of antique books. The property has a very warm aura and atmosphere in an elegant environment. Property Details: The entrance of the property is located on a narrow slope. Passing through the gate, you enter the parking area which can host up to 6 cars. The villa is divided on 3 levels: ground floor, 1st floor and 2nd floor. On the ground floor you will find: the garden, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 living room with a double sofa-bed (normally used a s a bedroom) and a kitchenette. On the 1st floor you will find: 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom for disabled people, 2 living rooms, 1 dining room an the kitchen. On the 2nd floor you will find: 1 library-living room, 2 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Ground floor All rooms have terracotta tile floors and bright wood furniture. In one bedroom we find a big wooden dresser with a large mirror, prints and pictures on canvas on the walls, a small, flat screen TV, and air conditioning. The small modern bathroom enjoys mosaic pastel colored walls, a shower, and low ceilings. The second bedroom was originally a living room with an adjacent kitchenette, but it is generally used as a bedroom with a double sofa-bed. There are 2 small bookshelves, while the kitchenette enjoys a refrigerator with freezer, oven, four range stovetop, and a sink. The three rooms on this floor have French window that lead out onto the garden. First Floor: The first floor is reached by either a flight of outdoor steps or an elevator. Parquet floors and air conditioning are present in all area, except in the bathroom. The bedroom is a double with a white fabric headboard, some accent pieces, a wooden dresser, two wooden chests of drawers, an antique wooden table and several bookshelves, as well as a flat screen TV on the wall. This room boasts a private terrace and enjoys the adjacent handicap accessible bathroom with shower. The two living rooms are open spaces in opposite areas of the same room, both elegant and with many pieces of furniture. The first enjoys a sofa, armchairs, carpets, an antique dresser, and antique tables. In front of the sofa there is a table with a dressed stone as a base and a crystal top. This room enjoys its own entrance and a set French windows leading out onto a terrace. In the opposite living room, used as a TV room, there is a TV with DVD player, a sofa, various chairs, a dresser, a Caravaggio painting, and three pure golden mirrors on the opposite wall. A small terrace is reached through a set of French windows. The terrace is equipped with a small white sofa and a marble table. The ceiling of the terrace is covered by plants and bamboo. The two living rooms are connected by a corner in which we find a fireplace, located on a wooden platform where a set of stairs leads to the top floor. There is a nice dining room furnished with a large Art Nouveau table on a carpet which covers almost all the flooring, two chests, one sideboard from the 1600’s, and a collection of English plates from the 1700’s, as well as works by Giuseppe De Nitti. There is also a large Genovese mirror form the 1800’s and various pictures. From a set of French windows you can reach the small terrace, also accessible from the TV living room. The wood kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator with freezer, a 5 range stovetop, a water purifier, and ceiling fan. A set of French windows lead out onto yet another covered terrace equipped with a wrought iron table and chairs. Second Floor: The second floor is reached by either a flight of indoor or outdoor steps, as well as the elevator. The library – living room is a wide room with access to the largest terrace of the villa. The terrace is covered, perfect for all meals, and is equipped with a rocking sofa, wrought iron chairs, and a crystal a table with a dressed stone base. Two large carpets cover almost all the flooring surface, while the room enjoys important pieces of furniture including a Louis XV desk, a large Chinese wood carved chest, an antique set of Canterano drawers, a mirror from Napoleon III, and a big carved wooden dresser. The two bedrooms are connected to the library/living room through a corridor where you can admire the bookshelves with its countless books. Special attention should be paid to a large collection of antique English Poetry books. The two bedrooms are very similar in their furnishings with various pictures, a wooden dresser, and a TV (one is a flat screen). Both bedroom enjoy en-suite bathroom with showers. One of the bedrooms has a view out over the pool, while the other enjoys a set of French windows that access a terrace equipped with table and chairs. In the bookshelf corridor we find yet another red ceramic tile bathroom with bathtub. The comfortable pool area is surrounded by Mediterranean plants and flowers and is equipped with iron tables and chairs, as well as white sun beds for sunbathing.

Location

Located in a suburb of Sorrento, this villa is nestled in a very quite area on a hill. Only 3 km from Massa Lubrense, it is easily reachable and located only 4 km from the sea and 7 from Sorrento. From the nearest port, Capri can be reached by boat in about 15 minutes.
