History: This property was purchased in the last decade of the 20th Century and underwent a total renovation. Owned by a renowned interior designer, the villa is a beautiful stone-brick building and the vast majority of the furniture and amenities are conceptualized, designed, and manufactured by the owners themselves. In fact, most of the home decor and furnishings – from the handmade soaps and olive oils, to the embroidered towels and bathrobes, to the dining table – can be purchased from an interior design catalogue. Description: The entrance to the property brings you up a private driveway, through a large, iron gate, and into a parking area that can easily park 4 vehicles. The driveway continues to the back of the villa where there is another parking area for another several cars. The Villa can be entered through several access points, but the main entrance to the property faces west and takes you along its wonderful garden filled with lettuces and vegetables that can be picked and used during your stay. There is a lovely external, covered dining area facing the back garden off that extends outside, off of the main, internal dining area as well as a half bath off of the dining area. The first of the 6 bedrooms is a suite, located off of the main living room on the ground floor.
